Summer Course Auditions

The Manchester auditions for entry to the Summer Course.

• 2 contrasting pieces of your own choice, to be played unaccompanied, one on treble, one on any recorder (this can be treble again), total duration about 6 minutes.
• Sight-reading test.
• Set studies (posted to you 1 month before the auditions) written especially for each round of auditions.
• NYRO studies are on treble and bass recorders.
• NYTRO players have the choice of two out of descant, treble and bass studies.

Bass recorders will be available to borrow at the audition venue. A warm-up room will be available.
