Hannah Rose

Hannah was a member of NYRO from 2006-2012 and went on to found the Cambridge University Recorder Ensemble with fellow NYRO players. She had lessons at school and with Ross Winters, and credits NYRO for introducing her to serious recorder technique. For Hannah NYRO was a chance to spend a full week with people she had something very close in common with and who 'got' that the recorder is a wonderful instrument.
Hannah now works in educational publishing and is fully aware that her harp needs playing as much as her recorders. She was invited to become a trustee in 2018.
