Exeter Recorder Day 2017

A fun day for recorder players aged 8 to 25 (Grade 3 to Diploma) and recorder teachers at St. Luke's Church Rooms, Countess Wear. You can audition for our Summer Course 2017 at this event.

The day is aimed at recorder players aged 8 to 25, with a playing standard from Grade 3 up to Diploma, and recorder teachers. Players who have not reached this standard or are not ready for a full day's playing can attend the afternoon session for £10.

There will be massed playing sessions, group work (according to playing standard) and tips on technique.

Come and be inspired, make new friends (or meet up with old friends) and have fun!

Cost: £29 for the full day (£10 for the afternoon only).

Teachers who bring 5 or more pupils can come for free!

Those coming for the whole day should bring a packed lunch. Squash and biscuits will be supplied at all break times.

Final details will be sent out by email about one week before the event. Please bring all your recorders with you and a labelled music stand (unless the final details state that this is not required at this venue).

Those coming for the afternoon session only should aim to arrive at 1.30 p.m. and bring the £10 payment for the session with them.

If you are auditioning for the Summer Course 2017, a separate e-mail will be sent detailing the proposed times and audition requirements.

Apply now using the form below.

The closing date for applications is 29th January 2017. Applications received after this date will be subject to a £10 late application fee.
