NYRO

For the Summer course, players aged 11 to 21 who are assessed at audition to be Grade 8 standard or above will join NYRO, the National Youth Recorder Orchestra.

It is not necessary to have Grade passes; the assessment is made by our tutors. NYRO will rehearse and perform separately and also together with NYTRO in the Combined Orchestras.

At the Easter course there are no auditions. Players are arranged in groups of comparable standard and come together in a single Orchestra.
