Adam Dopadlik

Adam studied recorder at the Royal College of Music with Ross Winters, graduating with Honours in 1984. Adam is currently Lead Recorder Teacher for Cambridgeshire Music, a role he combines with his various performing, adjudicating and conducting commitments.

He has performed at many prestigious venues throughout the UK, including the South Bank, both with The Ross Winters Recorder Consort and his own groups, Fitzwilliam Baroque and Hobson’s Choice.

Adam is a Visiting Conductor for the Society of Recorder Players and has taught throughout the British Isles. He is very interested in working with recorder orchestras and established the Cambridgeshire Youth Recorder Orchestra in 2013. Interests away from music include motor-cycling, reading and Ballroom and Latin dancing (for which he has achieved Gold Bar 1 with Honours and Distinction, respectively).
